Maybe it's like a 2 x 4: They used to REALLY be 2" by 4", but no one expects them actually to measure up nowadays.

Crasch - There is nothing better than a bowl of lentil soup. And so incredibly easy to make. I like the red kind the best (they turn yellow when cooked). I love lentils, chickpeas, & all kinds of navy, black, and red beans. They fill you up incredibly. They are hugely nutritious. And they're so easy...

Lots of doughnuts?

If there are so many promotion doughnut days that your diet is at risk of being thrown off track, I'd say it must be a pretty good place to work! Unless these are the kinds of promotions where the employee gets a new title, more responsibilities, and no salary increase ... maybe the donut is a kind ...

Modifications to No-S Plan

Here are some things I'm doing to the No-S Plan: 1. Limiting the amount of sugars in my diet generally. What this means: - Being careful about fruit juice (drinking it in small juice glasses - 4 oz, sticking with high nutritional value juices such as orange, drinking it only with a meal so as not to...

Very intelligent

Thanks, Jan ... I had already read everything on Reinhard's main No-S page, and it made a lot of sense. It just seems like a much more intelligent and less obsessive approach. Don't worry - I am not into dieting ... have never really been on a diet ... I think the whole concept is kind of silly. A m...

Weight loss among those who have followed No-S?

I was hoping those who have been following No-S for at least a few weeks would post (1) the pounds they've lost so far, and (2) the length of time they've been on the No-S approach. Also helpful would be your original weight, your height, and whether you are male or female. Just curious! - Betsy

Betsy's Check-In

Hi ... I'm Betsy ... this is my first posting. Starting No-S today, and I will be modifying it to fit some of my personal quirks and also to mesh with an eating plan I adopted about a year ago. That was one I created myself and it was not about weight loss, but rather optimizing nutrition. So now th...
