Grazing is the worst for me, mental wise. It was what I successfully kicked to the curb, thanks to NoS. The first year or two (or three?) on the weekends I grazed like a maniac. After several years of that, even my weekends are typically graze-free. I am much happier this way.

Re: SoDakgirl weekly check-in
Hey there - hope you start to feel better. And yes, keep putting one foot in front of another! I am convinced that I need to focus on what I can control and let go or accept what is out of my control, as a method to manage anxiety in these troubled times. Easier said than done.

I've also had trouble with not being on my routine and my usual time of daily walks. It's frustrating to feel that I know what I want to do, and what I should be doing, but I can't seem to find the motivation. Very blah feeling.

April, really good insights you are having and I appreciate you sharing them. And I understand about how, by controlling our food (when we can't really control much else going on around us) can be tempting. What's interesting is that my normal "Way of Eating" is more restrictive than many (just due ...

"S"-ing out - that should be a tried and true phrase on our threads.
But I totally get that....the times I feel the most physically unwell correspond to the times that I feel the need to indulge more. I'm pretty sure it's a mood-lifting-seeking behavior for myself.

This was delightful! And so spot-on with discussion on our forum threads: we often complain of our "inner rebel" and our "inner perfectionist" - they sure sound a lot like Demogorgon and Asmodeus! Also your comment about how they feed off each other - we often notice that when our inner perfectionis...

Hi Soprano - yes, I've studied and use apple cider vinegar, although not always consistently. Soprano, yes the change is happening but SOOOOOOO slowly. Molasses slow. Hi Soprano! This experiment is actually kind of growing on me. There's something about thinking to myself, "hmmm, I have plenty of energy for my body right now so I don't need to eat anything extra".
