Oh oolala, this really hits home. I find it so hard with my dieting friends and I do get judgy and often irritated as it doesn't make any sense to me. Especially one of my friends who is quite big and keeps telling me NoS is too moderate and she'd rather lose weight faster. She's been on 3 insanely ...

Thanks Sonya, I was afraid no one would appreciate the over-sharing haha! Here they are about £3.50 for about six big juicy medjool dates of good quality in my local grocers. However, if I wasn't too lazy and went to the arab shops in some London neighbourhoods they'd be much cheaper. I had an S da...

Did you try having an S day on Tuesday instead of Sat or Sun? Maybe that would be less stressful.

I'm with you Swuddly! Ha! After 21 green days a bit of a  period. 1 - Special S-DAY - last work event of the "year" (we work in academic years because of a summer break) at a fantastic Italian restaurant 2 - oh dear, had 3 dates after dinner. Not a massive fail but still. 3 - not...

It's brilliant that you're doing your Hobbit trail again. Weathertop is a big milestone.

And dairy-free sounds so hard for me but it sounds like it's worth it.

Yes, I got a small £8 spiralizer and it does the trick perfectly. It looks like an hourglass. I had a fail yesterday but I'm glad I had. I had the worst indigestion problems with cramps and all the last few days. (is that too much info?? sorry) Yesterday after dinner, I had this massive craving att...

I think it could be related. Vitamin D is important for your immunity and my guess is that if your immune system is in overdrive trying to heal you it will use a lot of it. Also, when you are outside, make sure you get some unprotected time outside (at least 10-20minutes depending on your skin type....

I totally agree with Over43. I read that in England 55% of people have vitamin D deficiency. I try to beat it by taking a 10-15min stroll/seat in the sun during my lunch time as often as the English weather will allow.

Hi Linda, That book is amazing. It's so much better than the other one. I don't agree with all her dietary advice as it's a bit too much on the "no-added sugar" fad but it's still very good and the recipes are amazing. I've made her vanilla "ice cream" and it was delicious. It's 1 frozen banana 1/3 ...

Hi Jennifer, NoS isn't for losing weight fast. I'm sorry to say. This is a sustainable long-term solution. I started NoS when quite a few of my friends said they need a fast solution. 3 years later - I'm at my ideal weight and they are still where they were as they couldn't sustain their fast weight...
