I know what you mean, Betty.
On habitcal, if I make one slip I mark the day red rather than green, but I wish there was an orange colour option for days when I have one minor slipup but the day is otherwise fine. I have wondered about using white squares as a surrogate orange. Does anybody do this?

Fascinating. Thank you for posting the link. I think mine would probably most closely resemble the family in Cairo. Re: When does it get easier?
I'm tired of not snacking. Also, in order to aid the kicking in of habits, does it make sense to do all of the first 21 days as N days? Personally, I wouldn't try this. It could end up too much like a restrictive crash diet, which with me always ended with bingeing. S days act as a kind of safety v...

I also agree that you may find that the plan works better if you eat more at meals. If you get desperately hungry, planned low calorie snacks of fruit and/or cottage cheese can help, but increasing your meal size looks like a good first step in creating an eating regime with which you can live comfo...

I have salty snack things as part of a meal occasionally, and have found that for me doing so stops them from being a desirable forbidden food. I don't want to eat as much of such food as I used to. I am sorry that you have had such a bad experience.
I think it's a case of horses for courses. This eating plan does work for some people, myself included. I have learned to eat moderately during the last year, and the lack of guilt involved in this practical scheme is a great relief.

I get hungry in the late afternoon, too. I eat cottage cheese and fruit, which is enough to keep me going but not too calorific. When I tried to keep going without I would end up binging while preparing the family meal.

Yes, I was a compulsive eater from childhood onwards. A year of No S has really reduced this tendency. This means that even on the infreq...
