Love how at times you have a short "spell" where you aren't as strict with the rules as usual (holiday, etc.), but then you just hop back in and resume as if you never fudged the rules at all. How to avoid stress eating?

Anybody out there find something that works for when you're stressed? If I'm in that situation I mindlessly eat whatever is around me, preferably chocolate, to deal with whatever has come my way. Re: It's all about the habit...

No S isn't about the "diet" per se, it's about the habit that you form from the medium of No S. So, to be brief, next time you get all shaken up about the cinnamon roll you just realized you stuffed down your pie hole, don't, it's about the habit. Start it again right then and there. I like that. "...

My class today was gentle yoga, so basically lots of stretching and breathing, which is exactly what I needed after BodyFlow (tai chi/pilates/yoga) yesterday. I'm so out of shape and have problems with hip/shoulder/feet, so I'm gonna have to take this slow or else I'll get into trouble again. I. SO....

Weird question, I know, but.....

Does anyone know how to get rid of that very strong and offensive, "new rubber smell" from a yoga mat?? I purchased my first one yesterday, all psyched about starting to attend exercise classes, and the smell was NOT very pleasant. I've washed it with soap and water - no difference. It's now hanging...

The great thrill for me now is shopping for new clothes - and I've had to do some of that. Most of my tops are still okay, and dresses, but many skirts and all pants had to be replaced. I have four kids as well, and as we all know, during the younger years you have no choice - being sleep-deprived is just a fact a life. However, my youngest is 7 now, so I have no excuse to not get a longer night's sleep. Just wish I would've started this sooner! :)

Yes, I've read it a million times....if you get more sleep, you'll stick to your diet better, feel better and it actually helps you lose weight.
