Day 10,

Ignoring food (other than at meal times) is easier again.

Have been sharing this non-diet with more folks and interest seem to be building!

Hey O.G.

Just thinking about you. Sorry that this is such a stressful time. Do you have anything in that wonderful store of yours to naturally help you sleep?

From another link of mine:
Was reading THE book again and just thought it was funny that Reinard's name for excess attention diets is:

Substance Accounting Diet or S.A.D.

I know they always made ME sad.

I'm just revisiting the fact that here, almost 2 months later, this remains true in my life. I've just CHANGED.

Would love to encourage all the newbies that NoS, as a way of life-eating, is the most sane, sensible, and stable plan around.

Here is day 8 and I'm on my way again. In the midst of so much going on in my life, NoS is a solid comfort. It gives me one less thing to think about. Maybe I should say 100 less things since I don't consider food all day long except when it IS time to eat.

This is me, being grateful.

I switched about 2 years ago. Never thought I would be able to go without the cream, but I learned, like another post here, that if the coffee is good enough it can stand alone. I always grind fresh. Makes a huge difference to me.

Yeah, the House last night was a rerun..........although with my aging brain it is always NEW. Let's hear it for competent, yet cranky, doctors. Did you ever see Hugh Laurie in the British comedies where he played Bertie Wooster? Good for you not griping about Mondays. Sounds like NoS has smoothed o...

Yesterday was a FAILURE . Last night, after an amazingly difficult day, I got into the York patties sitting in the fridge since this past weekend. Hey Blue,

House DVDs like Hugh Laurie, Dr. House??? I'm a BIG fan since it veers away from the usual medical pablum.

Saw you got another Bright Angel zing.

You have a wonderful attitude!

Yum to your meals.

One good thing about having a picky eater and doing NoS is that you only have to think about it 3 time/day

Have a jolly week.

Hey Blue, what an amazing post. It might be interesting to have a thread on the discussion board re how food was viewed in our childhood homes. My mom was a fantastic cook-still is. My 2 cents,................well, actually, not mine. A very wise person once said: "20 Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules: 21"Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!"? 22 These are all destined to p...
