No S is a lifesaver!

I started the No S diet in May 2010 and I lost 35 pounds to date (August 2011). What I gained though is so much more. For the first time in my life I feel normal. When I have a stressful day, I don't immediately turn to my sweet and salty friends.
This is the only diet I've ever been on that I was able to maintain for any length of time. For the first time if I have a red day, I am back on the program the next day, no problem (and I don't succumb to the "well, since I am cheated and I am going to get back on track tomorrow, I can keep binging" excuse.) Also, I've always been embarassed to be the fat girl on a diet with special food, so it's great to not have any restrictions if I don't have control over my food selection (e.g. at a work event or family function).
I still need to lose (lots) more weight to be in the "normal" range for my height (per BMI), but I feel confident that I'll get there at a slow and easy pace.
I plan to tweek my S days, make exercise a regular part of my lifestyle and focus on keeping my alcohol consumption to not more than 5-7 drinks a week.
Thank you so much, Reinhard for coming up with this plan and putting it out there!
