Meal in a bowl?

Post by Joy4aub » Sat Mar 01, 2014 3:37 am

If I was having for dinner, soup, would 1 bowl be all I would eat? Could I have something else since it is not on a plate?

Hi, Joy4aub: A lot of people put the bowl on a plate and then put other food like bread or a salad around it. I, personally, tend to consider 2 normal sized bowls of soup the equivalent amount of food that would have fit on a plate had it not been so watery.

I would consider something like a normal-sized bowl of soup, a salad, and a slice of bread an acceptable meal.

I'd have this plus a piece of fruit (or half piece--the size of some fruits are huge!)
