Reinhard, just wanted to say thanks for sharing your "No S" diet with the world... I've been following strictly since January 5th, and to date I've lost 6lbs +! (The reason for the "+" is when I initially weighed myself, I didn't have a cast on my right arm - long story).

What really made "No S" great for me is that it addresses the three areas in which I had the most difficulty (obviously the same same three for everyone) - I ate too much, too often, and I'm a fiend for chocolate & ice cream.

I had tried "No S" last summer, but found that it imposed too severe of a limitation on my food intake. At the time I was training for bike racing (the kind you pedal), and I'd have days where I'd burn more calories in training than my BMR. For example, a typical 3-hour training ride would see me burn about 1,800 calories. Three meals a day w/no snacks didn't cut it...

So, now that I've been reduced to a couch potato, it's perfect! And the great thing is, I haven't really changed what I've been eating!

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks!

Cheers,

Jim

You are very welcome, Jim!

Yeah, it doesn't surprise me to hear that no-s might not scale to the requirements of competitive athletic competition....

But I'm very happy to hear it's working so well for you now.

Reinhard
