Is this ok or a sweet?

Post by FarmerHal » Sun Mar 11, 2007 3:03 pm

Just wanted to know if this is ok for N days or should I keep them to S days.

THey are the "pure fruit" bars found in the freezer section. I originally got them for ds, since he thinks he's getting a special frozen treat but it's 100% fruit with no sugar or preservatives or anything. Each bar has 25 calories.

It's literally pure ground fruit frozen into a Popsicle. No sugar, just fruit, like strawberry, raspberry, orange. I know I don't get all my fruits and veggie servings, this might be good to have with supper?

What do you think?

Thanks!

I would think that, if it fit on the plate with the rest of dinner, it's probably okay. We grind and cook food, why not grind and freeze it?

You're probably eating it for the taste, but we wouldn't eat a food if it didn't taste good. Berries have lots of fiber, so if it isn't too processed, you might even be getting fiber in it.

Thanks Kevin. It's literally ground fruit. You can see the seeds and everything, it's not just the juice from it.

The strawberry is sooooo good :)

Sounds "substantively" OK to me.

Just make sure to have them as part of your meals.
