20lbs (at least) lost

Post by JoshT » Wed Oct 22, 2008 12:42 am

Just thought I'd pop in and add my success story: I started No S and shovelglove on August 4th, and I've thus far lost at least 20 pounds of fat. I say "at least" because the scales show I've lost 20 pounds, but I've also packed on a lot of muscle, both in my arms and legs. I'd say I've lost more like 30, but I'll be fair and stick to the scales.

Considering the fact that after the first week or two of No S, I haven't felt like I'm dieting at all, I consider this to be a rousing success. :D

Indeed, it is. I weigh less now than I have in a couple of years, at least. Also, this was just a good mile marker for me; I still would like to lose at LEAST 54 more pounds, preferably 70.

But for now I'm aiming for 4 more to hit an even 250. :)

Congratulations and thanks for posting here!

Moderation can be slow to yield results, but it can also, especially when applied from more than one direction, be shockingly fast.
