Resisting tasks... (somewhat but not entirely off topic)

Post by kccc » Tue Nov 25, 2008 3:14 pm

I am resisting grading my graduate class papers. I love teaching, but I hate grading. Now that eating instead of working is not an option, I am spending too much time on the computer. Specifically, here. Even when there are no new posts.

So I am logging out. You won't "see" me here until I report back that I am done. (And if you do, feel free to scold - though I'm thinking that putting this post up here will be enough dis-incentive.)

The good thing about No-S is that it shines the spotlight on what's really going on. The bad thing about No-S is that it shines the spotlight on what's really going on... and then you have to deal. (This is the part that's at least a little on topic. :) )

Off to grade. Now.

Round One of grading is done. Have more to do, but not today. :)

So I'm allowed to be here again.

Hahah you're not the only person who procrastinates and surfs too much KCCC
What subject do you teach?
Hope you are working hard now!
And if I see you here before you are done I will be wagging my finger! Heheheh :P

KCCC,

this is something I am very familiar with ...

but my favorite refrain USED TO BE:

Can't work, too busy eating!
:D

Doesn't it ALWAYS feel great to get that stuff done?
