Just for you Mimi!

Post by ~reneew » Fri Jul 10, 2009 7:41 pm

I just wanted to say that I've been getting a bit lazy with my exercise lately and I decided to do it today for Mimi because she can't... because of that stupid dog attack. So, here's to you Mimi... 65 minutes today!

Anyone else???
I guess this doesn't work unless you actually do it.
Please pray for me

I bike commuted today, I'll take the long way home for Mimi, that should add an extra 20 minutes. Should be a great temperature for riding too! (upper 70's) I'll be thinking of you Mimi! 8)

What a lovely idea, ~reneew!

I did my normal exercise before I read this, but will be thinking of Mimi when I work out tomorrow and give it some extra "oomph"! :)

I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my face as I read this...I am touched to the uttermost depths of my being.

You are unbelievable Renee. What an incredibly loving gesture this is. And 65 minutes - wow! Bless your heart!

And Stephen, I know how your knees bother you...I'm so touched by your extra biking.

And KCCC - you have enough to concentrate on with your own training - don't give too much of your "oomph!" Now I'll have to do some *homework* for you!!

You're all so incredibly sweet. I don't know what else to say except thank you from the bottom of my heart to yours. Hugs to all!

I wish I had read this before I worked out yesterday. But I did 60 minutes on the treadmill - much more than usual - so I must have been doing it for you, Mimi. I would have done an extra 30 minutes if it could help you recover faster. :D

Okay mimi,

I am upping my bike to 45 minutes from 30 and my glider to 75 from 60,

But, PLEASE, get well soon.

Oh, and we will postpone that little chasedown for the emerald.

But, only temporarily.

(hope you are feeling better)

SR

Bushranger - I'm speechless. That is quite the sacrifice. Please know that your kindness has greatly touched my heart. Thank you.

Midtown - I am getting better - but only because you're the best! You go girl!

And Berry - people like you brighten the world for the rest of us - and you're right - this hiatus is only temporary! I have no plans to give up my emerald!

Thank you so much!

Hum, yeah ... I ate a huuuuuuuuuuuuge piece of triple chocolate cake tonight too in your honor, Mimi ! It was so HUUUUUGE !! Wait ... that's what I was supposed NOT to do !! ... I got mixed up ! ;-)

...

No worries, no cake, I was good as usual. ;-) I've been feeling pretty hungry lately, but I'm not cheating really, the way I see it if I'm not hungry at all, there's something I'm not doing right. :-)

Nice to see some solidarity for you here, Mimi.

Getting attacked by a mad dog must be pretty traumatic so I hope you get better soon.

For total protection Here's what you need to wear on your next urban ranger session, Mimi !

Cheers !

Marc ;-)
