Hello from NZ

Post by Kit » Mon Oct 05, 2009 6:03 pm

Hi, I live on the South island of NZ. As a youngster I was painfully skinny, I started to put on weight after my first kid...not a lot, I was just a little plump after having her.

So I went on a diet. Big mistake, I lost the weight, but it all came back and brought lots of friends and relations to visit as well. Don't you just hate it when visitors overstay their welcome! I have had 2 more kids since then and LOTS more diets.

I have 2 coeliacs, and one anaphylatic amongst my kids so food rules are the order of the day here, but we have the tendency to go...oh I can eat that! And we do! I still remember the day we discovered gluten free, dairy free, nut free donuts............

Anyway I have been no-sing for just over a week. I have lost about a kilo. I have also felt instantly better, it has done wonders for my heartburn. I live on the beach (on a sandune) so I have taken up an early morning walk on the beach, which I am tracking on habit cal.

So hello to you all, and here's to No Sing.

Kit.
