Thank you for that wonderful link. We really do need to learn to help our poor old multi-tasking brains.

The chocolate cake-choosers in the story were asked to remember seven digits, the length of a local phone number. Our state's phone company recently started making us dial the are code for every number. So now we have to remember ten digits even for local numbers. Does this mean I can blame the phone company for making me fat?
