I'm Charles.

I began the No S Diet November 1st. I'm just coming off my first S days and so far, I'm happy with it and having no problems. But I'm 6'3" and around 320lbs, so I have a long way to go.

I did a "no carb" diet back in '03/'04 and lost plenty of weight, but quickly grew tired of having the same tiny little pool of foods to choose from.. and I'd find myself eventually buying 2 or 3 "sugar free" chocolate bars from the store to try to calm my insatiable sugar addiction. I'd always end up worse than when I began.

Thank you, Reinhard, for showing how sustainability is the key to sticking with it. It sounds so obvious once someone says it, but it wasn't to me back then.

I'm planning on posting my progress here monthly. Look forward to reading some success stories!

Charles
