A newbie!!!

Post by izzy82 » Sun Jun 04, 2006 3:19 pm

Hello!!

Discovered this site through another and feel it is a very healthy and sensible way to lose weight and keep it stable. It looks really supportive and as I've had eating probs in the past, that really appeals to me! :D

I have a stone to lose, something that I've been struggling with for about four years. I have no time for quick fixes (been there... done that :( ) and want to sort my eating out now while I'm young. My father has type 2 diabetes and I'm terrified that I'll end up getting it too. Although I eat healthily most of the time, there are days when I binge, although the number of times has steady decreased over the last year and a half, so that is progress. :)

I will post on the daily check in site, starting from tomorrow.

Thanks for reading and a big cheer and thank you to Reinhard!

Welcome Izzy

Deb is right, I think this is a really sensible eating plan - not really a diet at all, because to go on a diet you have to deprive yourselve of something and with this you don't.

I have been doing this for 12 days now, and it has been the easiest 12 "dieting" days that I have ever done.

Good luck and best wishes - D

Welcome and good luck! The board is a really good way to express your frustrations and get good feedback.

Hi Everybody! I don't know what I've been waiting for... maybe just to be able to tell you guys that I have lost appoximately 20 lbs on No S.

The No S Diet works. From personal experience the first 2 weeks were tough, I lost a few and gained it back as I started during the holidays. As of January 1, I have been keeping my own diet blog where I keep track of my weight, exercise, and everything I eat. It is so rewarding to look back to just a few months ago and see the results. Most of the weight loss was done in 3 months, so if you are struggling, stick to it.

Congratulations, Olivia! And thanks for posting this.

20 pounds is "testimonial" worthy... hope you don't mind if I quote you here:

And please feel free to post a link to your blog.
