I am definitely in! This will be my first full month and will include driving from MA to Mexico with lots of stops to see things along the way. No idea how this will impact my eating, but I will probably add some S days to allow for trying regional foods.

27 :D  :D FINALLY and N day! This has been a rough month! Through it all, though, I've kept up my exercise and am noticeably stronger and healthier-feeling. If I don't OD on sugar, my mood is fairly good too despite the stress and disappointments of bingeing, SO illness, and trip delays. Unfortunately Tuesday will be an S day b/c of a party, but I'll do my best with the meals, eat a light supper, and try not to overdo at the party.

Me, too! I finished September strong, so I hope to be off to a great start with October. I have a couple of events coming up, so I don't know about my NWS days - I feel like there are a lot of them - a long weekend with my sister, my parents in town, and a couple work events, so I know I shouldn't take all of those S Events. I'll try to keep them as N Days.

Bump! A week into October - how's it going for everyone so far? I've been on vacation - so easy S Days for me, but I'm ready for the sanity of an N Day!

It's going okay for me. This weekend was 3 S-days in a row, followed by an S-event today. I noticed a decided up-tick in hunger today, after this long weekend's excesses. I'm grateful for a plain, old N-day tomorrow. These were the first S-days I really did whatever I felt like. In the end, I found them much less enjoyable than previous days where I'd followed the basic outline of N-days, but maybe had something sweet as the meal, or planned snacks. I never really let myself get hungry, which greatly reduced my enjoyment of the meals and treats I did have. I'm chalking it up to a lesson learned, and will go back to my previous S-day ways.

Yes, I just had the same thing, although 2 of my S Days I actually followed the N Day rules. Yesterday getting back on track was easy until the end of the day, where I overate at dinner... But, I'm getting back on track right now. Good luck, Swuddly and everyone else!

I started on October 2nd and love this diet and this group! All of my days have been successful thus far. Last year I had gone from 154 to 135, but in the last 5 months, I have regained 9lbs. After a week of NoS, I have lost 3lbs.

I have found this way of eating very easy to implement, especially if I eat each meal in a certain time window. I usually eat breakfast between 10:15-11:30, lunch between 2:00-3:00, and dinner between 6:45-7:45. I drink a home-made hot chocolate in the a.m. and again in the evening; it consists of plain cocoa powder with a tsp of turbinado sugar (sometimes a splash of almond or coconut milk). I find the warmth of the mug in my hands and the drink to be comforting, especially as the days turn chilly here in the northeast....the drink isn't very tasty ;)

I failed at my attempted at the 5:2 diet, and I loathe counting calories. I really believe that eating the NoS way is something I will continue for life - it just makes so much sense to me. Oh, and I absolutely love this forum and the accountability groups; being accountable to this thread has made the first week very successful for me.

Good luck to all!

Dang it! I know the month isn't actually over, but I'm feeling like I can't commit even to the last week. Yet sometimes when I least expect it, it happens.

I did get in some exercise Friday night and Sunday.
