I was thinking of updating my Amazon review of No S but I can't find it. I did a search for my username but nothing came up. I tried browsing through the dates I might have posted (I committed seriously at the end of Dec. 2009) but found nothing, either. If anyone has a few minutes to kill, could you look and see if I'm wrong? Maybe I'm just too ADD.
I know I posted because, ahem, a couple of people here have come because of my review. Maybe one of them will take a look?

Wow! I guess I'm getting too old for electronic media...

What changes are you planning to make to your review? I'm pretty sure I read it (once, long ago) and thought it on the money....
I probably should write my own review even though I don't think I have anything new to add... except maybe that fact that I still love it, six years down the road... Mmmm. Something to ponder....

I was just going to update a little, though the window of opportunity passed and it may be a few weeks before I have the time again. I think it always helps to have new reviews. I wish I could write a new one just to refer to my old one so that it would look like there is recent interest, but I think Amazon won't let that.
Yes, do put your review up! I personally think it's always more impressive when a "diet" book has reviews from people who've actually used the system for two years or more. Two years is considered the absolute minimum to judge the "long-term" viability for eating changes. Less time than that is practically meaningless because the relapse rate it still so high. But that doesn't stop the publishing industry from taking anyone's story and spreading it. And it doesn't change that the percentage of people who get and go beyond five years is still only 3-5% of those who "diet."
