Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all who trod this board.

One of the things that I am very grateful for is a way of eating that allows me to relax on Thanksgiving.

No thoughts of blowing my diet which has always lead me to eat more than I otherwise would (I've already blown it, so...)

No feelings of resentment because I "can't have" bread, starch, dessert, whatever.

No need to starve myself or stuff myself.

No need to even think about any of this (though I clearly am since I'm writing here today).

I'm loving the No S for the S day that is Thanksgiving.

I missed this, but hear, hear. Glad I enjoyed it and glad it's over.

I posted some charts about habits that have led to weight gain in America. I didn't comment there, but perhaps I'll go back and add that there was no evidence that people ate low carb back in the day. I just know I sure still enjoy the starches on Thanksgiving! I eat a lot less in my daily life, and that's also part of why I feel I have leeway on S/NWS days.
