Hello!

I joined a while back and then fell off the wagon for a bit but am back and looking forward. I don't have much weight to lose (about 10 lb) but I am interested in this mainly to restore my sanity around food, weight and health. I have Reinhard's book and so much of it resonates with me.

I look forward to meeting you all!

Annie, I don't know about losing ten pounds, but I do know that this is a sane way to live. No one starves or is really deprived getting to eat three sweet-free meals of foods of their choice every week day!

I fell way off the wagon my first few tries, but it's stuck now for five years.

Hi, I really enjoy this way of eating although I also enjoy complaining about how "hard" it is. I don't have the process down to a habit yet but I'm still able to reap the rewards of a relatively thought free way of eating that addresses all my quirky eating bad behavior.

Fair warning . . . It sounds a lot easier than it is.

Good luck and welcome

I've been known to say that No S isn't necessarily easy. It just turns out that most other eating plans are worse. Rather like Churchill's saying "Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others.†Well, maybe not that harsh.

I agree, there are easy and challenging phases but once the habit stuck you and you've seen all the benefits from this way of eating (which are not necessarily but also weight related) it's easier to stick the challenging bits out too.

Just take it meal by meal and enjoy!
