Hi - looking for information on how well this works for weightloss in your 50s?
Thanks!

I'm in my 50s, and it works for me (and also worked for a friend in her 50s who had less to lose).
Being older and smaller, I do have to be careful with portion sizes. However, at the start of my weight loss, when I was bigger, it worked perfectly without any portion control at all.

I'm 5"4' and in my 50s. It works but diligence, patience and honesty are key. I suspect it also depends on what your situation is. If you already are a slim bodybuilder or marathon runner and just want to get down to your perfect competitive weight, probably no. If you know you have questionable eating habits and/or have put on extra weight in your lIfe, then probably yes.
What is nice about the diet is that it teaches a lot more than just weight loss. It also teaches wonderful lessons about moderation and and self acceptance.
Good luck with your search

I am 48 and I lost weight...I also cut alcohol because I felt like that was really holding me back calorie wise. I just finished a 21 day challenge and will do another starting Monday. I am very curious as to how much I will loose...I am sure it wont be as much as this last time. Gingerpie is right it does teach you more then just weight loss. I love just eating three times a day and not worrying about it.
Goodluck to you Cait5 !

Just saw this. Lost all my weight after age 56. Bingeing was my issue. Took a couple of years. Mostly holding steady after another three years.
