Saw this a few weeks back and thought it was interesting. You could also call it The Walmart Diet. In a nutshell, a morbidly obese Dad walked one mile to Walmart to get healthy food for each meal, then walked home. Did it three times a day or six miles a day.

Lordy. What a marvel the body is that he could still walk weighing 600 lbs.
Wonder what he spends on food now compared to then?

That's great! He must be really tall. His before picture didn't look like 600 pounds to me. It also shows that you don't have to buy expensive food at a health store to eat better.

I thought the same. Those first several months, moving all that weight six miles every day. I'd have to strap almost 400 lbs. of sandbags and stuff on me and carry it. I bet he laid down when he finally got home and took a nap.

He didn't get those muscles from walking! But very well done to him. I often/usually walk to buy food and then of course I can only have what I can carry home (in a smallish backpack), so no room for snack foods! I don't have time to do it three times a day, though!
