Let's try some sanity for a change....

Hi, I'm new to NoS. Well, actually not....the only time in my adult life that I was nearly at an ideal weight, I was doing something very much like this -- 3 meals, no snacks, walking everywhere. It was amazing how the weight disappeared. Did this teach me a lesson? Apparently not. Two pregnancies and 5 years later, my weight is back up and I've been flailing around, spending an embarrassing amount of money on various things (books, Weight Watchers, NutriSystem even -- cringe!, etc, etc). NO MORE. I want to focus on more important things in my life that constantly fussing with counting calories and/or trying and failing this and that system, all the while depleting my hard-earned money.

So, that's my story. I hope to report some success in the weeks and months to come! I've really enjoyed reading everyone's posts.
