Hi all!

I know that between meals you can drink milk and natural juices, but ... could you make a smoothie with both? For example, with half a glass of milk and a few strawberries, or with half a banana and half a glass of milk. Without adding sugar, of course. What do you think?

My opinion of smoothies in general is that they are a great way of consuming the maximum amount of calories in the minimum amount of time. Seriously, if you really feel in need of something to eat, and a drink of milk is not enough, I think it is better to have a solid food snack, & acknowledge it as such. Others may have a different view.

Technically I suppose you can and if it helps you form the habits then fine but if you want weight loss I wouldn't do it every day.

Have decent satisfying meals and start to learn to sit with hunger for an hour.

I think that is a good way of eating a meal. :-)
My kids have a smoothie for breakfast many mornings (yogurt + berries + banana).

When I need to be "tided" over, I have milk.

Agreed, smoothies are great meals! We have smoothies and a side for lunch on most weekends.

If you're doing No S Vanilla, you probably should avoid it. Just have a glass of juice if you need it, and slowly wean yourself off of it, going up the totem pole of No S drink preferences.

A smoothie is basically solid food pre-chewed. Save food for meals. And remember that you have an amazingly powerful blender in the form or your jaws and teeth!
