Staying On Track

Earlier in the summer, I did No S successfully for a month or six weeks and loved it. I lost weight, it was easy, it made me feel good. Then... I'm not sure what happened. I think maybe I just got busy or something and a few days I didn't do it, then I just fell off the wagon. I eventually ended up trying some other diet strategies that didn't work for me. Then I remembered recently how well No S worked for me and wondered what was wrong with me for ever stopping! So, here I am several days into sticking to No S and I'm in that honeymoon phase again where it's getting easier, it feels great, and I feel like I can do it forever. But I know one day again I'll just kind of lose focus on it because I'm busy or whatever.
What is your strategy for staying focused and on track?

In the beginning using habitcal kept my days green.
Coming on here and reading other threads.
I have drifted from time to time but other than fasting I haven't followed any other diets. l use No s as my default position.

For me, there is no question that what works best for me is tracking my meals. I know people often think that's so hard, but for me it has always been easy. I mean, it's just 3 meals, and they are usually pretty similar, so .... just works for me. Plus, I use my thread as a diary of sorts. It's far from food-focused. This is just a little piece of heaven for me here on the internet.

So when you say tracking your meals, you mean just keeping track of what you eat on a thread here, correct? Not putting them in some calorie tracking app or the like? I am pretty resistant at this point to using a calorie tracking app, but writing down what I'm eating in a thread doesn't sound so overwhelming...

I just track on my daily thread. I've never bothered with any sort of app - those seem like far more of a hassle.
Hope you are doing well.
