How often do y'all weigh yourselves?

Hi, everyone.

It is SO great to see the boards become more active again. I was curious, how do you all approach weighing yourself? My dietitian doesn't want me weighing more than every other week, but I miss daily weighing for the motivation and the fluctuations would teach me so much about salt consumption, water retention, etc. Do y'all weigh daily? Weekly? Monthly? Less? I would love to hear and also hear your reasons behind it.

It's fantastic that the boards are more active.

I am currently weighing daily as it keeps me on track. I think daily is fine as long as you know if you get an upward fluctuation it won't derail you.

I would say do what works for you but might be worth discussing your reasons with your dietician.

I've tried to tell her how much daily weighing helped me, but she's still not a fan. I am a total data person, haha. I like seeing numbers, but I will admit, there are days seeing my high weight totally derails me, so I get here she's coming from. Not weighing at all is very hard (which I tried) and I always end up gaining massive amounts of weight when I'm not weighing.
