I'm back from 2 weeks of vacation, a driving tour to visit various friends and family, with a trip to the seaside thrown in. Very pleasant.
I did not track No-S or S while I was gone. The first few days I was frantic about it, and as a result ate constantly. Then I just let go and decided I could have treats that I wanted . Key words. I relaxed and enjoyed - and ate almost normally.
Not quite enough exercise, though. So, I've gained about 2 lbs overall. Got back on Thursday, had a good No-S Friday. Started to skip the weekend S-days, but decided "no, they're part of the program." So I bought an incredibly decadent bakery treat and had half today and will have the other half tomorrow. Other than that, pretty much an N-day.
It is nice to let go a little and feel confident that I can get back on track.

Just to say... the incredibly-decadent-bakery-treat was such a good idea. I only did that one S each day because it was just SO satisfying.
As a result, I lost those 2 pounds I'd gained on vacation in record time. (Well, I exercised too, which didn't hurt.)
I will plan another decadent something next weekend. And in the interim, enjoy the wonderful seasonal produce!
It was reassuring to have the No-S habits "hold" on vacation once I relaxed a little about them.
