The Book!!

Well, got my book yesterday afternoon and finished it this morning and I'm really pleased with how it turned out !! Great job Reinhard! :D

I especially liked the part about making things sustainable. Like the eating habits are very sane and sustainable (here we are at Friday and tomorrow is an S day and I made it!) and also the exercise.

I was trying to throw myself back into running and got all these ideas about running a 5K. Well my body has other thoughts about that and given the disease I have where my immune system attacks my joints (ankylosing spondylitis) I decided tonight on a walk that walking and riding bike suits me just fine. Every time I attempt a jog I end up in pain for a week or more.

And after reading the book hunger is just another feeling. It's unpleasant, yes, but not as unpleasant as a bad headache or my joint pain (certainly doesn't help to be carrying 60 extra pounds around on my joints!). I had a few moments in the afternoons this week where I thought my stress levels would make me want to eat but I made it!
I'm reinspired again to hang tight.

I'm always happy to hear the book praised, but I'm especially happy when longtime no-essers, who already "know it all," like the book and find it useful.
