This diet is THE TRUTH!

The No S Diet REALLY FRIGGIN WORKS! I forgot how I stumbled onto it, but it has definitely worked out for me. :D

I started out at 240 lbs at the beginning of this month. Gotta say that the first week was a struggle for sure, but after that, skipping out on S' on weekdays just got easier and easier. I weighed myself this morning and I am proud to say that I have arrived in the neighborhood of 229 lbs!

So far, my exercise has been light, but i'm gonna start slowly stepping it up with some cardio. What I REALLY love is how i've been able to ween myself off of the junk foods I thought I could never do without.

The road to a better me has just begun, but i'm gonna keep up the fight alongside all of you!

Congrats! That is a real accomplishment. What do you eat on weekends?

scyence,

Congratulations! That's an impressive start.

Note to others: don't be discouraged if your first few weeks aren't quite as spectacular -- no-s is a very moderate diet, and results tend to be slow (but lasting).

Recently, I have found my weekend eating habits to match my weekday eating habits. I'm thinking this is because of the slowly weening off myself of sweets and such during weekdays. As such, those habits spill over into the weekends.

But as for specifics, i'm usually eating cereal in the mornings, something filipino or a chicken caesar salad (or some kind of salad with chicken) for lunch (i'm filipino, haha), and dinner on the weekends is usually with friends so it'll be... at whatever restaurant we go to (weekday dinners will usually match whatever was for lunch). I find myself not going overboard on desserts like I used to. I now only strictly drink water (with the exception of milk in my cereal).

Everyone, keep going at it! Like Reinhard said, results tend to be slow... but trust me, after 2 weeks everything will become habit (and definitely lasting!) :D :D :D
