fkwan,
Good article.
I love this quote:Also, look at what you're doing now. If it isn't working, try something different.

Interesting article. I know for me the mini meal...3 meals + 3 snacks a day plan does NOT work. I just eat twice as much.
For me No S is the way...along with the personal tweaks I need. i.e. portion control & not being an idiot on S days, and regular exercise.

my "anecdotal" evidence ... the last time I tried 5 meals a day I gained ten pounds
that was right before i started NO S, of which now I have lost eight of those babies. ANYWAY ... I love NOT SNACKING ... I find I actually have time to do other things with my life besides plan and consume my snacks

What I wonder whenever I read forum threads about no snacking is why is people so incredibly adamant about this:
"No snacking?? PREPOSTEROUS!, UNHEARD OF!, WHAT ABOUT THE INSULIN!, WILL SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE INSULIN!!!".
It's there some fear that makes people react this way?, I mean is it fear that they'll lose the excuse to over-indulge or what exactly?.
So weird.

I think Reinhard hit on the reason when he followed the money.

It must be, sometimes I think this is all people paid to promote snacks by writing these responses, but that's far too paranoid of me!.

I think it's the simple matter of ordinarily people repeating
what is said by the "experts",
and the research and findings of these "experts"
are connected to the money involved in the sale of snack products.
