I just had to come and post as I am so pleased with myself and I know you guys will understand this:

I was offered cake to day and I declined!!!!! I just politely said "Thanks for the offer, but I am not a cake eater"

And

I had to go and get my boss sausage rolls and samoosas for a birthday in our department and I took 2 of each for me to have with lunch, but by the time I had gotten back to my desk (about 15 steps) I had decided that I actually did not want them at all (they are red light foods for me), so I took them back.

YIPPEEE for MMMMEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats, Mo! These strong "little choices" will go a long way toward reinforcing your "big choice" to do no-s.

You rock!

Great, Mo! That was definitely a shining moment. I think we spent many years just assuming we have no will power, when in truth, we were just hungry!!!!! Now that we are so well fed on NoS, our minds and bodies don't go crazy when empty calorie food with nothing but a taste bud high going for it presents itself.

MO, MO, Way To Go MO (That's my cheerleading chant for you!!!!!)

I think we all need to post these little milestones because they are inspiring and encouraging and just plain terrific.

And truthfully, you probably aren't a cake eater. If you want something sweet you are going to have what you really want (guilt free) on your S days. :!: :!: :!: :!:

Good for you.

Your friend,
Dru

That's the truth -- that's the difference in calories you get with No-S, right there. Eating vs. snacking.

Congrats on saying no to cake. Someone said, "With No-S there is no deprivation, only delay", I think. Who was that?

Oh, it was Blue Daisy -- "no depriving, only delaying" -- sorry

You are very welcome, MerryKat. It makes me so happy to hear stuff like this. Amazing what a rush willpower can be. Better than indulgence, even. Sometimes I think the stoics were just a superior kind of epicurean. :-)
