Great fun workout

Post by JerryLee » Sat Nov 08, 2008 8:30 pm

Been trying to find fun workouts. I have been NoSing for 4 weeks and have lost 15 lbs, but i have been only doing hard workouts on the weekends. Today I played Wii sports boxing for an hour striaght and found that is a great cardio workout. I think I can apply this to 20-30 minutes 3 or 4 times a week to get a workout.

I don't want to sound presumptive...but it sounds like you have yet to discover Shovelglove. :)

Wii

Post by bizzybee » Sun Nov 09, 2008 1:43 pm

I strive for activity 5 days a week and I get bored very easily. I love my wii, I buy my kids any and all activity games, we have DDR hottest party, Outdoor challenge, wii ski and wii play and I use them on days when I don't have time, motivation whatever to make to a class at the gym. I also use the wii fit as my scale, I love the graph it displays and its very sensitive to slight fluctuations. I have also watched my "fit age" inch down over time to below my real age.

Also, when my son is going bonkers bowling or tennis will usually take the edge off in a constructive way and gets my heart rate up.

I was inspired and last night I boxed on the Wii.
It made the pain in my back that was gone come back, but it was exhilarating.

Bowler's arm from a Wii wand? Now that's full immersion simulation!
