Thanks,
I opened the REPLY box and used my cursor to highlight the words in your post that I wanted to copy--which in this case meant I highlighted beginning with your user name and then included the whole message. Then, go to the EDIT column at the top of your browser and choose COPY (or use a shortcut by holding down the Control key - or APPLE key on a Mac and hit the C key --which means copy). Then put your cursor in the reply text box and choose PASTE (or CONTROL-V ) It should appear in the box.

Then I highlighted your pasted comments and clicked on the Quote box above the text box so it would show up in a separate inner box.

Actually I usually just do the quote box and above in regular text, I just write, the person's name as I did with "As connorcream said." I'm sure there may be a simpler or more computer savvy way to do it. . . but that should work for you. -- unless I've left out some major step accidentally!

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Pressing the "quote" button on the right of the text does the trick (it's how I got the quote above, complete with your name as poster). You can delete some of the text to leave just the bit you want.

Thanks for the tip!

Thank you for your tip, too! They're just different ways of doing things. Sorry, our original replies "crossed in the post" - your reply had not appeared when I started to compose mine, or I would have phrased mine differently.

Trying this out. Thank you both for replying.
