Seconds on Soup

Just wanting everyone's input. So far, I am going with the seconds here--I made soup out of my lunch: 1 chicken breast, some hominy, some green veg and low sodium chicken broth--I plan to eat the whole thing, which is definitely more than one bowl and I guess this is a personal decision, but I am violating the no Seconds rule here-
Thoughts?

Of course it's up to you! I would consider more than one bowl of soup to be "seconds," myself.

It depends on how big your bowl is I suppose. If it's a broth base and a "good for you" soup, then I suppose you could use a bigger bowl. I know I do when I have something like an all veggie soup and I know it won't stick around long in my tum. Be reasonable when you use a bigger bowl though, and remember that the sides hold up a lot.

I think you should get a bigger bowl and that would be fine ... or use 2 smaller bowls and finish them, lol ! It's still one plate of food's worth. You just put it in a purée/liquid form, which is a great idea. You shouldn't be penalized because you ate it as a soup instead of straight on the plate as usual.
Cheers !

I agree with Marc.. Get a bigger bowl..
It's the *habit* that you want to form to *not* go for seconds at any meal..
And believe me, that's a very good habit to ingrain.
Enjoy your soup

I have a bowl at work that is like a small serving bowl which I use for soup, because a meal's worth of food is a LOT of soup.
So, fourthed?
