So please commence being nice immediately.
I'm sorry I did not intervene more forcefully sooner -- the last three weeks have been incredibly stressful at work and I kept thinking, based on the great track record we've had here since 2002, that people would just comply with my repeated requests to be civil. Unfortunately that hasn't happened.
I HATE to do this, but I'm going to start freezing accounts of people who can't refrain from being rude.
If you've been watching these recent, unprecedented outbursts in horror from the sidelines, or been personally insulted, please bear with the group a little longer. Rude behavior is no longer going to be tolerated.
