My Success Story

Hello!
About a year ago, I started the No-S diet on advice from a friend. It sounded reasonable and practical. Coupled with daily exercise, I kept on it, and didn't fret too much about falling out of the diet on occasion. I started out at 38 inches and 245 pounds.
Now, I have a 34 inch waist and I weigh 170 pounds.
Needless to say, it was a success for me. I've been recommending the idea to friends and family.
Thanks for the help,
James

Would you mind telling us what you do for your daily exercise?

Congrats James!
Kinda cool and a little funny. James decides diet idea sounds good. Quietly adopts diet and loses incredible amount of weight in a year. Makes first post of 7 brief sentences sharing his great success.
James, man of action and few words, I salute you!
(but of course, feel free to post anytime!)

James,
Though it was "needless to say," I'm very glad you did say it here!
That's quite an achievement -- 75 pounds in a year "without fretting."
Congratulations and thank you for letting us know!
Reinhard
P.S. I hope you don't mind if I re-post this in the "testimonials" forum? It certainly meets the criteria! And that way it'll be easy for people looking for success stories to find. I'll hold off for a bit in case you'd like to post it there yourself.

See, that's what's so cool about no S... it fits so easily into people's lives that they can just live on.

Thanks James

I'm hoping to have very similar stats to yours myself. Might not be possible in a year, but I'd like to see it within at least two years.
Nice to know walking has been so beneficial!

Just out of curiosity, how much is 'a lot' of walking?

Hey Reinhard, you can go ahead and re-post it if you like. I'm not going to show up here often, unfortunately. I might stop by occasionally and see how things are going.
Oh, and clarinetgal, "a lot" of walking, to me, is about 8 miles a day. Naturally, I haven't kept up that exact number this whole time, but I've been relatively consistent!

No need to post often -- only if you enjoy it or find it helpful.
But we're very grateful you decided to post this!

Yeah that's a lot of walking!! Awesome!!
One of my ex boyfriends was a postal worker.. he had a walking route and could eat almost anything he wanted because he climbed stairs all day long and did an average of about ten miles of walking a day.
Just curious James, did you always walk this much before you started incorporating NoS diet last year, or did you start your walking at the same time?
Congrats again!!
