After several months of lurking on this site, I finally decided to become a member. Sometime this past spring I discovered the No S diet while on the Amazon site. I read the book and it resonated with me. At one point I made a half-hearted attempt to follow the diet and then went off of it-don't remember why. In July I decided I was "sick and tired of being sick and tired". On July 27th I started the diet and by and large have stuck with it. I'm 5' 1" tall and my starting weight was 188. The first week I lost 6 lbs. and was very excited. The second week I didn't lose any and almost let myself get discouraged. Waited to weigh until Sept. 1st-lost 3 more pounds!
This has been the most enjoyable plan. As most of you have experienced, I enjoy food more and eat a more balanced diet. Haven't started any exercise yet, but hopefully soon.
