				question about in between meals

Hi! My hubby and I are going No S on Jan. 2. I get the part about no snacking between meals. What about coffee with cream? Can I have that in between meals, or does it have to be just water or black coffee?
Thanks!

				Welcome, jbcombs.
This is one of those borderline issues I wouldn't worry to much about.
I drink my coffee black, but others here take it with cream (and sugar). You'd have to pour in a sickening amount over several cups to get to the caloric level of a single can of sugar soda.

Thanks a lot! It's nice to be flexible on some things.

				Coffee with Cream

Reinhard gave the definitive answer (as usual).
I'm one of those that doesn't permit myself much leeway with the diet, because if I do, well, I go completely off track.
But cream or milk to soften your coffee, whenever, seems pretty okay.
But here's how easy it is to go astray. Without really knowing what I was getting, someone ordered me a latte at Starbucks the other day. It was, effectively, 12 ounces of milk with a few shots of espresso. While delicious, I think it was a violation. I gave myself a time out. :0)
