Fourth start and Wii fit

Post by guadopt1997 » Tue Dec 01, 2009 9:19 pm

This is my fourth start. The first was January 28 and I lasted 'til Memorial Day weekend vacation, then I had several days when I had trouble getting into the No-S swing of things. Then a two-week vacation in August that I intentionally took off (but did not gain weight). Easy reentry to no-S.

Total weight loss by end of October: 35 pounds.

Then I had a terrible month of November (three green days), tried to get back on several times, would do well during the day, then give in to my urge for junk at night, instead of just going to bed. It was job-related stress and I gained 10 pounds.

Started up again yesterday. It felt good not waiting 'til December 1.

I bought the Wii fit several months ago and finally opened it last week. It's a lot of fun, I sweat, one knee hurts. It seems pretty mild but still, I hadn't been doing any exercise for a while so it's something.

Glad to be (hope I am) back.

Welcome back! :) You are wise not to wait.

We have a Wii fit too. On days where I haven't had time to do any exercise before the evening, it's fun enough that I'll do 30 minutes... and I can certainly work up a sweat if I pick from the aerobic sections.

Welcome back Liz! I've been thinking about the wii fit... I do Leslie Sansone DVDs now and I like her. Let me know how you like it as you go on with it. Glad to have ya back
I guess this doesn't work unless you actually do it.
Please pray for me

Welcome back Liz! I've missed you!
You are so wise to restart today rather than after the holidays - you'll get through them feeling SOOOO much better!

Welcome back, Liz! And congratulations on catching yourself before things got too bad -- and restarting at a time of year which makes it very tempting to give up.

We have a wii fit, too, but I've never really used it... I think I might, as outdoor exercise will be getting harder and harder to do with winter coming on...

Really glad to see you back at it!
