Someone here said s/he used a string of coloured paper clips as a visual 'habitcal'.

I'm thinking that might be fun for my 90 days of NoS. Just wondering who that was - and where they bought red/green/yellow paper clips.

Oh..wait...just green and yellow, right?

I don't know who posted the idea, but I'd imagine you could find colored paper clips at a teacher store. :) If not, then I'd check at an office supply store.

A visual and tactile habitcal.

Amazon seems to have them:

This seems to be the first mention of paperclips on this board:

Warning: If you practice this and "optimize your oatmeal" you may start to bear an eerie resemblance to a certain sesame street character.

Good luck!

Walmart carries colored paper clips - regular and jumbo sized. I just bought some for school. I use a paper clip chain when I catch 'em being good and anything else I want to recognize positively - when the chain reaches the floor I reward the whole class. Again, that tangible visual - it works!

my first grader gets blue fish for being good and loses them for being bad. He loves that! In fact, it's the reason he decided his school would work out ok after all. (Although mondays are still really hard.)
