The name may ring some bells for those of us who are over 40. He authored Aerobics in 1966 which was then b@st@rdized into lycra, leg warmers, step aerobics and people destroying kness and hips by running 50 miles a week.
In 1982 he followed up Aerobics with a second book Aerobics Program for Total Well Being. In the first 77 pages two things have stood out.
1) He suggests eating three balanced meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
2) He contends that jogging/running (pick your exericse) more than 12-15 miles a week becomes unhealthy. His aerobic point system "tops" out at 35 points a week. (For instance I can ride the Airdyne 3 times a week, for 45 minutes at a 2.5 pave for 35 points.)
If you can get ahold of his books at the library I would suggest taking the time to read them.
