To Weigh or Not to Weigh In

I have decided to commit to this program and see it through because I have tried everything and nothing has worked for me and I can't live like this any longer, constantly thinking about food and my next snack or drink (usually coffee with cream which is a snack for me).
I know how much I've gained because of the way my clothes fit or should I say don't fit.
I threw out my scale in the summer when I got frustrated with Atkins and fluctuating weights and the scale not moving. I also have a tendancy to get obsessive with it. Admittidly I'm scared to see the # on the scale. I lost 10bls on WW over 3 months and gained it all back and more I'm afraid in one month binge eating. SO ashamed.
On the other hand if I can see progress it might encourage me to keep going because I'm not going to notice my clothes getting looser until at least a 5lb loss.
Do you weigh yourself or just go by your clothes?
Thanks!
