How do i start a blog?

Is there some place i am missing? How do i start a blog?

hi, there really isn't a "blog" section on this site, but you can always go and start a blog and link to it for people here to read, using blogger or live journal or whatever other sites are out for blogging.
but if you want to start a daily check in thread, just go to that section from the home page, and click "new topic" and then you can create your own personal daily/monthly/etc, NoS log, and title it as you wish.
i'm not sure if that's what you wish to do.

After beginning No S, I developed the practice
of using my personal daily Check-In Thread as sort of a Blog,
and there are other No S members with similiar practices.
It is only in the last couple of months
that I actually established a "real" Blog of my own,
at my new personal, recreational web-site DietHobby.
and Reinhard has been gracious enough to let me link it
inside my signature.

Blogger, Wordpress and Tumblr are all popular blogging sites. Wordpress is even flexible enough to create a more traditional website.
