help finding a thread

Post by oolala53 » Mon May 16, 2011 3:27 am

I know there is a thread that's called something like Why I love No S. I searched that phrase and the result listed 65 pages of possibilities. Would someone else help me find it?

My search fu has failed me. There are over three thousand posts that contain all the words "why I love NO-S".

Can you recall any other unusual word or phrase that appears in the thread? That could narrow it down.

This it?

If not, Noel is right -- an unusual word would be our best bet. Also, any idea when it was started?

I agree. If you remember an unusual word or a specific phrase makes it easier to find an old post.

I wish I could remember something specific. I know it had a lot of posts about the freedom, how delicious the food tastes, how you get used to gaps between meals-the gamut in one thread. I participate on threads for binge eaters and I want to have a link I can give them that emphasizes how much help No S is in letting food concerns go. It can be overwhelming for someone to just show up when they're worried about diet-head.

Oolala, if it's 65 threads, it may actually be worth your while to open say 10 or so a day, depending on how much time you have available, and quickly skim through the thread. If it's 65 pages (!!!), I can only say good luck.

Another thought: what about eliminating No S from the search, since it is so common?

Noel's suggestion about searching for an an "unusual" phrase is probably your best bet.

oolala, I'm again at the library so not much opportunity to look into this at the moment, off the top of my head - didn't KCCC have a similar post/thread which as I recall had many great tips and recommendations?

Meanwhile - I'll keep searching and if I can come up with anything, I'll let you know!

PS: I just took a quick look and heck, there ARE, not surprisingly, lots of threads about the wonders of No S! Therefore, you could end up with lots of replies and suggestions to this one...LOL!!

Didn't have time to look in depth but I found a thread started by Dandelion that matched it quite closely:
