My Own Personal Olympics

I have a dry-erase board in my kitchen. On the board each day, I add a number if I have been successful. So, if I have been successful 5 days in a row, I write 5, and just keep adding until I stumble. In the other corner, I also have a place for my personal record, which gives me something to shoot for. In addition to habitcal, it provides a really easy, but useful metric.
