A very nice discovery

The other day, I was working away on a project, so absorbed in what I was doing that several hours passed before I noticed it was almost 7:00 pm.
I had not eaten since about 1:00. At the same time as I noticed the time I became aware that I was hungry. Not starving just pleasantly hungry. As I went to get my dinner, I was hit by the realization that I had not thought about food at all for hours and that, on further reflection, this has become very normal. I can see that between meals I rarely give eating or food any thought at all. I like that. Food has taken its proper place in my life at long last. This alone makes it all worth it! :)

What I found is once I eliminated the snacking and ate my 3 squares I was not binging and after a short time I was not thinking of food as there is no option to eat snacks anymore or to think about them.....hence my screen name NoSnacker...

no weekends i'm still a work in progress.

I wish I was there. Even after more than a year, I can't say I'm not aware a lot of the time that I'm "doing" No S. But I am still glad I'm using it and plan to continue. I've definitely had some days like the one you described, but it's ephemeral.
