New to No S

I stumbled upon your website while avoiding working on my dissertation.
It all just makes such good sense. I am 40 years old and have steadily been gaining a few pounds a year for the last 15 years. You do the math = YIKES! I do recall that when I was younger I did not have a weight problem. This made me think about what I did differently then. As it turns out, I ate only three meals a day. My mom did not beleive in snacking and we had sweets only for speacial occasions like birthdays and holidays. I also walked or rode my bike everywhere I went. I have to try No S just because it really is a simple solution to problem I've been pretending was impossibly complex. I'm overweight because I eat too much food and it is food that I do not need to live. Thanks for reminding me that this is not rocket science!
I began No S-ing last Wednesday and love the simplicity of the plan.
I look forward to joining this community, hearing your stories, and sharing my experiences.
peace,
rudie
