New Here....

I have been trying to eat Intuitively for almost a year now but have also done low carb several times as well during that period. I found this site by someone suggesting it on another site that was talking about IE. Eating only when hungry has turned into a diet for me and my head thinks I'm always hungry!

I am the queen of grazing and I've always known this is a huge problem for me. Reading about NoS seems like a great program for me as it still allows me to eat what I want which is where the rebellion kicks in for me on all other diets.

I got my HabitCal calendar going and plan to have lots of green days! I already sat down and had a nice breakfast which is rare for me! Normally breakfast lasts about 3 hours with eating here and there! Not sure why the thought of not being able to eat again until lunch has me nervous though. I know I'm not going to die of starvation or anything. Seems weird!

Glad to be here!

Welcome! You can do it. Eating three times a day has become a real habit now. So even if it's hard at first: make sure to load up on you plates at first and just get in the habit. The rest will follow.

Feelings aren't always rational. I had this, too. Eventually, the part of my brain that was panicking over not being able to eat for several hours realized that the next meal was always coming, even if it wasn't for a few hours. That took time, though.

If you've been filling your time with eating or worrying about eating, it can be daunting to find other preoccupations. Don't give up. It's definitely worth the learning curve.
