I have recently lost about 10 pounds (over the holidays) following a point-type system.I have found it quite boring and almost think I am eating more than what I normally would to "get my days worth"....
Also have seen a stand still in the month of January.
I have had success with this way of life before..it's just normal isn't it??
Ready to fall into a routine and take responsibility for my choices.
I would like to lose about 30 more pounds (40 was my original goal when I started in November with points).
So I will begin...again!

Welcome back! I found that restarting No S after a hiatus (in my case, a three month hiatus before and after Nicest Baby was born) was a lot easier than starting for the first time. Hopefully you will have a similar experience.

I greatly encourage you to think in terms of learning to eat moderately forever, rather than having a certain amount of weight to lose. What is moderate for you will likely change over time, and may even resemble some "diet" meals- except you'll be choosing them because you like them and they make you feel your best!

Here's to being reunited!

Thanks for the warm welcome back :D !!
I have some really messed up eating habits...moderation is very difficult for me...I may be beyond repair!!

i agree, i would like to lose the 10-13 but if not, then not. really what i want is to not feel bloated and yucky all the time, a result of overeating. i want to make overeating rare.

Don't underestimate the power of routine feedings.

Thank you oolala53 for the helpful insights.I do need to focus on moderation and habit first and hopefully things will fall into place!
